About Anderson

I’m an Academic Success Coach & Mentor who helps middle school, high school, and post-secondary students build the habits, systems, and follow-through they need to succeed academically.

Through Habits4Success, I work with capable students who may struggle with overwhelm, procrastination, organization, planning, or consistency. Together, we create practical systems that make school feel more manageable and help students turn good intentions into consistent action.

My approach isn't about tutoring, pushing motivation, or doing the work for students. It's about helping them develop the structure, planning skills, and routines they can eventually manage independently.

The goal is simple: less overwhelm, stronger follow-through, and skills students can carry well beyond a single course or semester.

Execution & Accountability

Build Structure. Create Momentum. Gain Independence.

Take Control of Your Learning. Build Habits That Last.

Academic success doesn’t happen by chance.

It comes from knowing what needs to be done, having a realistic plan, and building the habits to follow through consistently. At Habits4Success, students learn practical systems for managing schoolwork, organizing priorities, planning ahead, and getting started when they feel overwhelmed or stuck.

With guidance and accountability, those systems gradually become habits students can manage on their own. The goal isn’t dependence on coaching. It’s helping students develop the skills and confidence to take ownership of their learning.
  • Study smarter using practical strategies like active recall, spaced review, and Pomodoro.
  • Plan assignments, tests, and deadlines with a realistic system that keeps you on track.
  • Build routines for getting started, staying organized, and following through.
  • Build confidence and independence through habits you can manage on your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

?

What can I expect during a coaching session?

Each session focuses on what the student needs most that week. We review priorities, upcoming assignments and deadlines, identify what may be getting in the way, and create a realistic plan for moving forward.

Students also develop practical skills for planning, organization, studying, getting started, and following through. The goal is to build systems they can gradually use independently.

?

How do I know if coaching is right for my child?

Habits4Success is designed for capable students who know they can do well but struggle to consistently turn their intentions into action.

Students may feel overwhelmed, procrastinate, have difficulty organizing their workload, struggle to plan ahead, or need greater structure and accountability.

The goal isn't to do the work for them. It's to help them develop the habits and systems to manage it themselves.

?

How often should we meet for coaching?

Most students meet once per week, particularly when we're first building routines and systems.

As students become more consistent and independent, the frequency of sessions can be adjusted based on their needs and progress.

?

How do we get started?

We begin with a consultation to understand the student's needs, current challenges, goals, and school workload.

From there, we'll determine whether Habits4Success is a good fit and what level of support makes sense. If we move forward, we'll establish clear priorities and a starting plan for the student.
